Games? What are those?
Microsoft always knows what's better for you and what you really want and will ram it down your throat whether you want it or not.
I guess that's why the xbone has a Blu-ray drive.
"Of all the aspects of a new machine, the name and appearance are by far the least relevant to me… I really don’t care what it looks like, or what it’s called; merely what it can do. That said, I actually like the design more than that of the 360, and way more than the Hibachi grill design of the PS3. It’s sleek, unobtrusive, and, dare I say, elegantly simple. Taken together, the different elements (console, Kinect and controller) all create a cohesive looking bundle."
@Cam
That was the first thing I read this morning as I sip a nice cuppa. I must admit, it brought back some peaceful nostalgia as I imagined that.... pre 911 and all that crap... ahh the "simpler" good 'ol days..
they've even managed to rile up the conspiracy theory community?
WTF have you done MSFT???

Ganerhub: "How will the Kinect push things beyond what current games can do?"
"I think A lot of that remains to be seen...I'm sorry to kinda keep sort of uh..kind of sort of uh.. to keep bringing entertainment into [this] as well, but thats sort of the lens uh.. the way I look at things.."
'nuff said.
Ron Paul is an old washed up lunatic racist. That's why I disagreed.
I didn't disagree w/ your comment; however, because the Xbone is probably already set to launch tomorrow. Hell we've seen all it has and wants to be as a glorified cable reciever/media streamer and the games are secondary, so why not launch sooner? Go for it I say...
" Driven by the bottom line, Activision can be sure that Call of Duty will sell even more billions. Electronic Arts recently announced they will no longer require an online pass, but why would they? The next generation alternative is clearly much worse for the consumer, and much better for their pockets than a $10 stipend.. You’ll need an account, you’ll need to tie games to that account, and you’ll pay every step of the way."
No, no, no, no, no. I'm not buying...
It's like planet of the apes standing next to King Kong.

"With the PS4, Sony Worldwide Studios boss, Shuhei Yoshida, has confirmed that the PS4 won’t block used games."
I'm sitting here in my home office right now looking at an entire recyclable bag of "used" PS3 games. I mean they all belong to me but they have also been used by me. It's hard for me to fathom lending one of these puppies out to a buddy (which I do often btw I've got a couple copies of KILLZONE 2's out -- yes I own multiples --...
"Redmond doesn’t understand its audience anymore. If the company is going to fix this mess it’s just made for itself, it’s going to need the best damned E3 in the history of video gaming."
What do you think? Can they pull of the best damned E3 in the history of video gaming? That's one hell of a tall order.
So...The shit storm really is going global....?
All it took was one reveal to change the balance of "console war" power forever (before it even began). Something tells me E3 is not going to fix these intrinsic and inherent problems. These are company philosophical and ideological decisions that have been made and are baked in... Good luck changing all of that within 3 weeks.
Let the bodies hit the floor. Microsoft's gaming division spent countless hours approving this garbage? These people are what's wrong with gaming today and why crap gets dumbed down just to fit into their money grabbing paradigm.. Personally I'm sick of it.

Oh my....
my head is starting to ache from all of this corporate bullshit talk today honestly. I'm logging off. See you all later.
No one's bleeding, dying, been robbed of their country or lost their life savings (so far) behind this, so of course "big media companies" aren't covering this.
Besides I don't need a big media company to tell me that the XBOXONE reveal was a late term abortion. The big media companies/corporate raiders don't want to hurt each other. It's not part of the brotherhood code so yeah you probably won't hear much from them since they are all conn...
Holy Shite ....
chadwarden's here? Sony really must be doing amazing things... "Ballin'!" hahaa
..
^^ cool list bro.
"Have we become so reliant on the specs that we no longer see the creativity involved in making something work?"
I'm sorry but I saw no creativity penned up and ready to burst out of the XBOX1. All I saw were rich corporate Aholes schmoozing, winking, and rubbing elbows with other corporate Ahole partners. You could almost see the dollar signs pop out and hover above their heads in anticipation of the upcoming "bounty" they will bring in from the unde...

Sony is doing amazing things.
anyway they are not bigger db's than we realized. We realized it before... just didn't think they would reinforce it with such vigor at the XBOX1 reveal.
Hmm..maybe further investigation is needed.
